Pablo Sue Pat

He is intrigued by extremes and contrast.  He is in flux between ambiguity and definition, chaos and order, and representation and abstraction.  His work displays the changes in his aesthetics.  There is repetition of visual shapes and textures, molded by layers of paint.  His art suggest metaphor and symbolism.

"I think of my work as an abstract reflection of emotions around me. The motive of my theme started from interest in subconscious thoughts. A spiritual experience related to the sensitivity of emotion affects my work as an instinctively strong energy. I seek to transform the material world into the visual through turning ordinary imagery into vibrant mutated forms. These forms reveal human emotion, such as religiosity, jealousy, mortality, desire that are integral to my life and culture around me. My paintings and sculpture- installations represent who I am as well as become symbols for who we all are humans and  definition of humanity as arising from interactions between random images (animals, vegetables, etc.) in my imagination."
